The Wright 2014 is Off and Running
Thank you for your nominations. With over 100 nominees now up for consideration, we’ll have our heads down during the month of July in getting to this year’s official contenders for the Wright. This award program recognizes those companies who are leading at the intersection of lifestyle and commerce. Hatched around kitchen tables and in backyard garages, the Wright contenders carry the torch for the independent spirit in all of us.
2013 Wright Award Winner: Voormi
Official 2014 contenders compete for top honors amongst their peers from the Colorado lifestyle industries at a live, open-to-the-public event on October 14, 2014. This is not your everyday business competition. Contenders are charged with creating a 90-second video that conveys their story, the core business proposition and how Colorado has influenced the company’s inception, culture and growth. This is 90-seconds to make us believe.
Voormi, a Pagosa Springs, Colo., startup producing backcountry gear made in the United States with proprietary wool materials sourced from the Rocky Mountains, took home the 2013 crown. Sharing the stage were 2013 finalists Optic Nerve and Fishpond. View 2013 Official Contenders & Entry Videos. Voormi joins the ranks of Flylow and MHM as past winners of the Wright Award.
