Coloradans have always known that the craft beer industry was a big economic driver in the state; now they have the facts to prove it. The Colorado Brewers Guild released the findings of a study in conjunction with the business research division of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado. The report showed that the industry produces an annual economic impact of $446 million and employees 4,170 people in the state.
Something Independent was on-hand at the Ale House at Amato’s for the release of the study on Tuesday, April 25th. We sat down with a few of the attendees to find out more about the reasons that the craft brewing industry is finding such success in Colorado. First up was Steve Kurowski, Marketing Director of the Colorado’s Brewers Guild.
